Progress: #10. Do something active for 3 months straight

I drove my daughter and I to Black Creek Pioneer Village. It's the first time I've ever driven her anywhere in a car entirely by myself because ANXIETY. We walked around, had a picnic lunch, walked around some more. 8700 steps today.

It was a nice day -- plus, her dad and I were married here in April 2019, so it's a pretty special place.

(Also, I've completed 1/3 months of this goal as of today.)

Progress: #10. Do something active for 3 months straight

Today I did a 20 minute yoga video, mostly so I wouldn't break my almost month-long activity stretch. Today I mostly rested.

Progress: #10. Do something active for 3 months straight

Two short rainy walks with my daughter. She napped on both and, for the first time, did not mind her rain cover at all. 8863 steps so far today.

Completed: #32. Listen to five new music albums

5/5: Brandi Carlile - In These Silent Days

Release date: October 1, 2021.

I love this. Some of it sounds very Joni Mitchell-inspired, and, if you know me, you know that suits me fine. My favourite track is, unsurprisingly, "Mama Werewolf".

Progress: #10. Do something active for 3 months straight

A short, misty, forest-y walk with my daughter this morning, which helped her to nap. When she woke up, she pointed excitedly at a new nearby little library and only stopped when I paused to sift through it. Only 4359 steps so far today.

Edit: Went for another walk, got lost on a nature path on the opposite side of Earl Bales. Now at 14177 steps and WIPED.

Progress: #10. Do something active for 3 months straight

A short walk through our neighbourhood with my husband and daughter, including a stop at a garage sale on our street. We bought some books and games for our daughter, and some wooden Christmas ornaments because I am a sucker for rustic and traditional ornaments. The woman and her daughter running the sale were teachers -- very nice humans, who told me to pick a stuffed animal for my daughter for free.

I gave her a duck, because she loves ducks. She was happy.
