Progress: #10. Do something active for 3 months straight

 It was a gorgeous autumn day. I took a short (6000ish) step walk around the neighbourhood with my daughter. We picked up a homemade shelf someone was giving away that was perfect for my husband's carded vintage action figures + some cute discovery kits about stars and pyramids and memory cards in exchange for a new book to my favourite little library. 

We ended off the walk in the gorgeous York Cemetery before heading back home.

Progress: #10. Do something active for 3 months straight

 This morning, I took a short walk around the neighbourhood with my daughter. We visited the local little library boxes and, of course, stopped in a park. It was a beautiful fall day.

This afternoon, my husband, daughter and I spent some time in the backyard -- sweeping (him), swinging in a swing (her), and throwing around a stray football (him and I, while she laughed).

7149 steps today, and 2/3 months complete on this goal.

Progress: #10. Do something active for 3 months straight

 My daughter and I walked to Earl Bales (with a pitstop at a park), around Earl Bales, and back. It was a nice crisp sunny fall day. She napped comfortably for an hour and a half while I sat on a park bench. It was really nice to soak up some sun. I also really like Earl Bales.

 This morning, my daughter had her 15 month checkup. This afternoon, we took a little walk around the neighbourhood, including swinging at a new park.

Progress: #10. Do something active for 3 months straight

 Yesterday morning, I pushed my daughter in her backyard swing for awhile. Before bed, I did some yoga stretches. I'm not proud of what a minimal effort that was, but my motivation seems to be declining with the temperature, and yesterday I felt really worn out. 

Today, my daughter and I went to Beyond Monet. It was two rooms long, and a bit underwhelming for the price, in my spoiled-by-touring-too-many-art-galleries-in-the-world opinion + she was a bit too loud for how silent it was in there, so we didn't stay long. On the plus side , I drove and parked downtown, so TAKE THAT, ANXIETY.

Using ingredients I already had on hand today, I made powder and liquid foundation, a coffee sugar scrub, and some diaper pail fresheners (which will be complete once set to dry for 12ish hours):

Progress: #10. Do something active for 3 months straight

 Yesterday, my husband, my daughter and I drove an hour to Drysdale's Tree Farm for some Halloween activities. We met up with my parents and our nephew there. This is the furthest I've driven thus far with my daughter in the car. It was a great day with perfect weather, and lots of walking through a cool pine forest decked out for Halloween. It exceeded my expectations. I couldn't update last night, due to an awful migraine -- but fortunately it was gone by this morning.


 Today I took a smallish (5500 step) walk with my daughter around the neighbourhood with my daughter, running some errands and stopping at an empty food court to share a veggie sub.
